CHC Foundation Grant Award

Driggs, ID - (06/02/2004) - On May 21, 2004 the CHC Foundation, Inc. awarded up to $932 to Teton Valley Hospital & Surgicenter for equipment necessary to support the Sexual Assault Response Team developed in Teton County, Idaho.

The team, which originated in February 2004, consists of Teton Valley Hospital & Surgicenter�s Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE), Teton County Sheriff, Teton County Prosecutor, and Family Safety Network victim advocates.

Grant funds will provide the tools necessary for the team to serve victims of sexual assault through advocacy, counseling and forensic evidence collection that aids in the successful prosecution of offenders.

The grant was written in partnership between Teton Valley Hospital & Surgicenter and Family Safety Network, the team�s nonprofit members. Funds will be distributed to Teton Valley Hospital & Surgicenter where the equipment will be utilized.
